The Struggle Is REAL

As a child I struggled to learn how to read and cringed anytime my name was called to read out loud in class.

 

I hated reading, but secretly I REALLY wanted to know how to do it. I admired classmates who could read and I believed that those who could had ​a SUPERPOWER. I just wasn't born with it.

As I grew older, and began to learn how to read, I realized that it didn't take magic to be able to read. It only required a lot of practice, patience, and useful strategies.

 

Now as an avid reader, I have made it my life's mission to make sure children become lifelong readers.
